Sealed on-board electronics ensure that no water will get into your servo or receiver. Pull up a dashboard on your smart device to view speed, RPM, and motor temperature. The TQi transmitter included with the Slash 4×4 Ultimateconnects with Androids and Apple products including iPads and iPhones. Each is fully assembled and ready with pre-glued tires so that you can get started with the races once the vehicle arrives at your home.Įach Traxxas Slash uses TQi 2.4GHz for an excellent range and steady radio communication. With the painted and decaled body, the Slash will look great while tearing up the road. Each is ready to race and also works well with upgrades. The Traxxas Slash 4×4 is built for a streamlined performance through dirt, mud, snow or on concrete. I should have the shell orderd on Friday if it is still in stock.Traxxas Slash 4x4 Is Built For Performance I'll mostly be running rough road I wanted a speed rc to be honest I have the revo for the mud when I get the nerve to break it in lol. I won't run the gearing I have untill I've been told either way cos I've seen someone on traxxas forum use 26/36 but could have huge amounts of torque wereas I'm using a 48ookv 6o,ooo rpm but atleast I know what I need now I'm looking for a revo 5ot plus spur. I would love the telemetry gear on my rcs for sure if only I knew what the tax would be on a 50.oo imported item for the tqi from USA rc breakers. There was a nice 4x4 roller on here for 12o Idk if that's a good price. I'm considering the other telemetry sensors for speed and RPM and getting the alu moor mount, but will see! I also bought the TQi docking base and waiting for the voltage/temp sensors to arrive to help with monitoring and tweaking!! That may be excessive, but I love gadgets! -) I've upgraded the bearing adapter, bought the esc fan, got the battery expansion kit and will be putting in my 3s 6500mAh this weekend!! With my slash 4x4 I bought a RW 11t pinion but I think I will keep with stock to start. The number of times that I've found something I missed or I thought I'd done and hadn't is ridiculous. I find it easy to get frustrated so walk away, have a cup of tea, then do it step by step really methodically again. I'm sticking with stock gearing and experimenting so that I learn what difference it makes for myself before moving to anything else pitch wise.Īs for you other issues I'd try the connectors and rebinding and calibration again if I was you. 23/86 should only really be used on flat, run that on grass or sand and you increase the potential for frying your motor. The gearing you run should also be heavily influenced by where you run e.g. Personally I haven't bothered with the gearing other than messing with the standard 48p pinion and spur combinations (16/90, 19/90, 23/86) It was me I'm used to nitro so had trim set 5o/5o and esc plugged into the battery on the rx hopfully that will be my last blond moment lol the seller of the motor took me thru it very pleased it does roar. I'm wondering if I need to programm anything ive binded the transmitter again checked all wires. I switched it on to my revo and had throttle and steering. Well I don't know if it matters now lol I got my radio hooked it all up and removed the pinion to hear it roar and it didn't even meow nothing at all esc beeped like on the videos. I've got a spare unused revo 3.3 slipper clutch too if that helps I've read people use the erevo slipper. Ive seen people say they've used 26/36 on the slash so I'm hopfull any advice. I have a 36t and 38t spare if I can bolt one straight on with the 16t pinion. It's just came and no its not going to work I was disappointed but then thought revo spur gear and yes they line up perfect but can I do it. Then I was offered a mod1 pinion so brought it and hoped for the best. Is this aimed at me lol I'm having trouble gearing my 2wd slash I dont understand pitch / mod1 or watever. Originally devised for the Ultimate Stampede project in 2002, this mod is a simple and inexpensive way to add a significant amount of width to the front end of your custom Traxxas Rustler or wildly modified Traxxas Slash-based stadium or monster truck project.īeen reading this a figured whilst not Slash Specific its very very usefull. ![]() ![]() The JANG Wide Mod for the Traxxas Rustler & Slash ![]() Good discusion thread about alu trannys - At the time of writing () avoid the GH Racing one because of the manufacturing"faults" with the bearing mounts Nice little thread on wheels, tyres, offsets, switching to 2.8's etc. They've proven invaluable resources and have a section all their very own in my Favourites.īuilding the Ultimate Slash - The Full-Option Slash Projectĭid the diff mod on here (300K oil) this weekend () and what a difference it makes.
